From Wesduine (the point where the Gr5A from Brugge hits the coast) to Oostend along the GR5A. The destination was not known until after arriving in Ostend and it need not be because along the entire Belgian coast there runs the "Kusttram" The sun shone and because of Simone's radiculitis I was forced to go alone. Mississippi was my only companion
. To my surprise we walked a very large stretch in coastal pine forest although the traffic was eminently present. Only when the path followed the beach the dunes prevented stopped the noise of oil consumers. The trip up to Ostend was perfect as well as the part where one traverses the local park. A final Trappist (here apart from clergy also the name of a beer) and the ride on the tram made the trip well worth.
